TX2K25 Wrap-Up
TX2K25: Wrap-Up
From March 11 to 16, 2025, the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, became the battleground for some of the fastest street cars in the country as TX2K25 took over the strip.
Dubbed the "Super Bowl of Street Car Racing," this six-day spectacle brought together over 600 high-horsepower machines and thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world, all eager to witness record-breaking speed and heads-up drag racing action.
Originally founded as a Toyota Supra and 2JZ-powered event, TX2K has grown into the premier showcase of high-performance street cars across all platforms.
While Supras and 2JZ-powered builds remain a core part of the competition, the event now features some of the world’s fastest Nissan GTRs, Audi RS3s, Mustangs, Corvettes, and more.
ECUMaster USA has been a longtime supporter of the JZ platform, with our engine management solutions helping take 2JZ powered vehicles to the next level.
Our dedication to the Toyota JZ engine and the broader racing community continues to fuel our innovation, as we provide cutting-edge technology for drivers who demand control, power, and reliability on and off the track.
TX2K25 featured an incredible mix of high-horsepower builds, from 2JZ and RB-powered classics to AWD monsters and Pro Mod-inspired creations.
The 2JZ vs. The World class saw legendary builds like putting down power figures north of 2,000HP
The GTR Unlimited class featured some of the fastest R35s in the world, proving that AWD dominance is alive and well.
But drag racing was the true star of TX2K25, with records falling across multiple classes. One of the most talked-about moments was a world-record-breaking 6.37-second quarter-mile pass at 230 mph in the GTR Unlimited class, further cementing TX2K’s reputation as the ultimate proving ground for high-performance street cars.
The 2JZ vs. The World class also saw fierce competition, with multiple cars dipping into the low six-second range, proved that Toyota’s legendary inline-six is still keeping up with it's domestic rivals.
While drag racing stole the spotlight, the roll racing segment also provided high-speed excitement, with competitors battling for top-end supremacy.
At TX2K25, ECUMaster’s booth turned heads with a unique tribute to Fast & Furious history—three movie-accurate heist Civic replicas, complete with period-correct body kits, wheels, and neon under-glow.
The cars served as a nod to the early 2000s street racing culture that helped shape many enthusiasts’ love for high-performance tuning, drawing a steady crowd of fans eager to check them out up close.
We want to thank everyone who stopped by the ECUMaster booth to talk racing, tuning, and the future of performance. Your passion and dedication drive what we do, and we’re honored to support a community that pushes the limits of speed and innovation.
Whether you’re chasing faster ETs, better data, or more control over your build, ECUMaster is here to power your performance—see you at the next event!
